Alberta is a Marriage and Family Therapist post-graduate intern moving toward licensure. Alberta is also the Senior Pastor of New Hope Christian Faith Center in Fayetteville, Georgia.and has over 10 years of pastoral counseling experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University and her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Capella University. She is skilled in balancing the clinical with the spiritual aspects of counseling. Alberta is experienced in facilitating support groups and workshops for couples and women. She has 20+ years of experience as a non-profit administrator, 2 years as a volunteer coordinator, and 2 years as an HIV counselor and case manager. Alberta has earned a Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Theory in Addictive Behavior from Capella University; Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Studies from Capella University; Certificate of Completion in “Caring for People God’s Way” from the American Association of Christian Counselors; Certificate of Completion in “Breaking Free” from the American Association of Christian Counselors; Certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.
