Beth Achorn is a licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a Clincal Mental Heath Counselor in New Hampshire. Beth holds a MA degree from Boston College and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies from Plymouth State University. In 35 years of practice, Beth has worked with over 3,000 children/individuals/families and has learned something valuable from each of them. She is also the parent of 5 grown children and knows well the joys and frustrations being a parent can entail.
Beth has persented numerous workshops and trainings on topics including behavior management, differential diagnosis in early childhood disorders, the effects of substance abuse by parents, the neurogenesis of attachemnt, trauma, parenting, maternal depression, ADHD in children and adults, emotional regualtion, and the neurobiology of social emotional development.
